Chalgrove Health Walks Group

Chalgrove has a thriving Community Walks group which meets every Friday morning. Community Walks is a program run by South Oxfordshire District Council's Active Communities Team to give people access to a friendly short group walk within easy reach of where they live to help them become and stay active. The walks are led by trained leaders and explore the local countryside. Most walks take about an hour with a stop for coffee at the end. Walks are friendly, fun, and aim to make you feel good. Best of all they are free.

The meeting point changes each Friday:

  • 1st Friday of month 10.15am Chalgrove public car park behind The Crown.
  • 2nd Friday of month 10.15am Wallingford Town Hall. (Bus from Chalgrove 9.52am)
  • 3rd Friday of month  10.20am St Leonard's Church car park, Watlington. (Bus from Chalgrove 10.07am)
