Growing Your Own

Few things can be as rewarding as the satisifaction experienced when serving food to friends and family, not only cooked at home but also home-grown. Many residents of Chalgrove enjoy growing their own food either in their own gardens or on one of the allotments within the village. Food related gardening resources are shown below.

Michael Gee's Market Garden (Pyrton)

Michael Gee sells a range of own-grown vegetable seedlings ready for planting out from his market garden in Pyrton. The products sold are of a good quality, are relatively inexpensive and occasionally unusual varieties are available. The nursey also sells some planting products such as compost and fertiliser.
