South Oxfordshire District Council are making a new Joint Local Plan with Vale of White Horse District Council.
The new Joint South and Vale Local Plan will run to 2041, and will govern housing requirements for both districts for the next couple of decades.
The Regulation 18 Consultation has been completed; we now wait for the Regulation 19 Consultation which is due sometime in the second half of 2024. The big news is - the new Local Plan proposes to remove Chalgrove Airfield from the housing allocation! We need as many people as possible to support this Local Plan so that we can get rid of these plans once and for all.
